Where Fundamentals Meet Passion
Paula came to combined driving in 2008, bringing the discipline and eye of a lifelong competitive equestrian with her. What started as a new challenge quickly became a deep passion — and over the years she has competed multiple horses and ponies through the ranks to the advanced level.
Her results speak to that commitment: USEF National Champion, American Driving Society National Champion, and USEF Horse of the Year. In 2024, Paula and her horse Burr were selected to represent the United States as an individual at the FEI Single Horse World Championship in Le Pin, Normandy, France — one of the highest honors in the sport. In 2025, she added a bronze medal at the USEF Nationals Championship for Advanced Single Horse to her record.
Away from competition, Paula is a licensed "R" USEF CDE judge and serves on the ADS Education and Dressage Committees, as well as the USEF Working Group for Driving Athlete Development. The sport has given her so much — and giving back to it, at every level, is something she takes seriously.
